This week, I spend a lot of time while at work trying to complete a few projects though I was able to have some outside work fun as well. This weekend was D.C. the famous Fourth of July celebration, tonight we were able to sit and take in the Capital Fourth Concert as well as the fireworks. However the whole weekend was busy. On Friday I went to check out the Sculpture Garden and the national Archives. One of the museums offered an exhibit called “Italian Masters” which was sketch works from the 16th, 17th, 18th centuries. All of the pieces were incredibly good and some of the art work seemed almost to jump off the page. Lastly, I was able to try a few new restaurants this week, which were Black Fin, Bar-code, and Lincoln All were really great and I look forward to trying more in the weeks to come. Saturday, I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the Nationals double-header against the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Verizon box, as that they are a supporter of AAPD. The entire weekend was enjoyable and I am looking forward to making all my weekends as fun with the few short weeks that that I have left in D.C. - Post by Jason S
