Andy, my brother, came in town for five whole days!! Actually he is still here and he is planning on going to Ben's Chili Bowl today and walk around Adams Morgan. We had a lot of fun times together. I hadn't seen him since Christmas time in our hometown of Chicago so it was very different seeing him in the hot weather in DC.
I believe Andy met most of the people here from AAPD. One night we had a gathering in our apartment and he met many interns and some of the interns' parents. We went upstairs and vistited another intern too.
One cool thing that Andy and I did was to take a night tour of DC. The weather had cooled off so we were able to enjoy all the sights. The views of the Capitol Building were amazing!
Steph, my roommate, Andy, and I also saw a baseball game. Nationals vs. Pirates. Nationals won Friday night in the bottom of the ninth. Pretty exciting!!
We also were watching the fireworks and listening to the concert less than 12 hours ago. The crowds were not as bad as I had imagined. A bunch of us were sitting together in good seats by the concert.
Last but not least, Andy and I went to Dupont Circle Sat for lunch with my friend from Dartmouth College Adam. We have been friends for twelve years. We both had a chance to see Adam again and see what's been going on. Good times!!
