Power is often referred to as the ability to control or
manipulate a situation. We are told that
we have the power to change our surroundings through various means such as
prayer, force, or other means. I am told
that having faith in God can cause mountains in your life to move. Of this I am a firm believer, but my Power
seems to be nonexistent in one area of my life given that others control it.
But I have taken my power back!
I have taken my power to be happy and deal with the
foolishness in my life away from the intern site. I have been blessed to work at the site and
so grateful I made the call to them last summer. I am faced with a lack of words to describe
my experience there!!
I also have the power to choose to be silent about all that
is going wrong in my life. So this post will be short. In spite of the insensitively of others, I am
still moving forward in what God has purposed for my life. I have never been forsaken by him and I will
still trust him. That sustains me each
day!! I have to constantly remind myself of my favorite biblical verse
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.
I am going to check
the city out this week. I am going to
take time for me!
